Hi all, sorry for the long lag between posts. I was able to attend the Toronto MAC Estee Lauder Warehouse sale this last weekend. Unfortunately I didn’t spend a lot, but I did get a lot for the funds I did spend.

MAC Warehouse Haul

  • Lollypop Loving- $9
  • Makeup case - $1
  • Signed and Sealed - $3
  • Mini Bottle of Fix+ - $3
  • 228 Brush - $3
  • Engaging Eyeshadow mineral duo, Gentle Simmer Slimshine, Taupographic Shadestick & 205 Brush all for $5
  • Golden Bronzer - Free Gift

I keep thinking abou the deals that got away LOL, next time I’ll have to enlarge my budget.

I’m not a huge lipstick wearer. It’s the one part of my daily makeup routine that I frequently skip. I just find that it wears off too quickly, and if I don’t constantly reapply I have uneven-colored lips. If only there was a product that offered 8 hours of continuous wear…

Since I mostly buy mineral makeup online, I usually don’t browse the pharmacy makeup section that often, so when I saw a Cover Girl commercial on T.V. advertising ei Outlast lipstick I was intrigued, and decided to give it a shot. I’m glad I did.

I followed the directions on the box this morning at 7:30am(apply to your lips and let dry completely, don’t press your lips together. After completely dry apply top coat) and it is now 10pm and my lips are still stained (there was a bit of flaking in the later afternoon, but my lips were dry to begin with). I though that this would dry out my lips, but didn’t make them worse than they already are :) It does feel a bit unnatural when your first put it on, but I git used to it pretty fast, and the topcoat does help a bit.

All in all I would definitely buy this product again, as a matter of fact I stopped and picked up another shade I was eyeing this afternoon on my way home from work. :)
