Mineral makeup makes it easy to create soft natural looks, the colours usually blend so well and go on so subtle. But some sometimes you like “living on the edge.” Well here are some of the most colourful pigments available in mineral makeup:
If you want to get the most out of your bright colours you need to either mix them with an eyeshadow sealant or use an eyeshadow base like urban decay eyeshadow primer potion. If you don’t already have these products on hand, and you don’t want to invest in more stuff, then you can also use cream eyeshadow, or liquid concealer as a base.

I heard rumours that EDM will be updating their website, here is a direct quote from their blog:
“The new changes will include the new Personal Kits, mini and full size. It will also include the Foundation Reorganization, and some extra goodies on the site itself.As soon as this is up, we get to work adding the new forum, the picture pages will be going up as well as about 100 other things on my wish list.”
I also heard that they will be getting some new synthetic brushes (although I can’t remember where I heard this). So keep checking out their website.

I’ve been eyeing TKB’s Pop Mica pigments for a few day now. This is exactly what I have been waiting for, a bunch of primary colours perfect for mixing your own custom colours. Pair them up with a few interference colours (mica’s that “flip” from one colour to another) and you can create some incredible colours! I can’t wait to get my grubby little mitts on some of these.
While browsing through TKB’s website yesterday, I was thinking, “wouldn’t it be awesome if they came up with a kit?” Well guess what!? They did. for $19 you get just about everything you need to make your own mineral eyeshadow. And if you follow the link, they provide a tutorial (video, and picture) on how to make your own mineral makeup. Can you tell I’m excited?
